Proud To Call Stuart Home
Sportfish Marina Resort is being developed and operated by 3 generations of locals who are thankful to be a part of our Treasure Coast community, and grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the place we’ve called home for 30 years.
The resort will add a bright and tasteful new element to the downtown Stuart waterfront, with our 49 slip marina conveniently located for easy, unobstructed access to the Gulf Stream.
As longtime residents of Stuart, we are excited to contribute to the responsible growth of our town by accomodating visitors and local boat owners alike.
We can’t wait to host you, by land or sea.
Location, Location, Location
Nestled directly across the St Lucie river from downtown Stuart, Sportfish Marina Resort will provide a modern waterfront option for visitors from out of town, a new restaurant stop on the tiki taxi route, and boat slips for locals who are currently stuck on marina waiting lists.
This marina facility will take the place of a vacant building and parking lot up the street from the old Evinrude testing facility, extending the charm of downtown Stuart to an area in need of revitalization.

Easy Access to Downtown
At one mile away, the shops and restaurants of downtown Stuart are a short walk or bike ride away. Sportfish Marina Resort plans include passenger ferry access across the St Lucie as well.
The over 50 locally-owned shops, restaurants, and galleries that call historic downtown Stuart home will be a welcome draw for guests, who will no doubt frequent the Sunday Market and the Lyric Theater while they are in town.
Straight Shot to the Ocean
Sportfish Marina Resort is located just east of the Old Roosevelt Bridge, fortunately for vessels kept in our slips. No draw bridges or other obstructions lie between our wet slips and the Gulf Stream.
Sportfish will be a convenient stop for boaters to stop off to fill the cooler with snacks and frosty beverages on their way out to the Atlantic. As fishermen and divers, we appreciate being able to pick up filling food that will keep in a cooler until it’s time to replenish those calories.
Cleaning Up The Neighborhood
The project site currently is home to a dilapted structure and aging parking lot, resulting in unchecked storm water runoff from the parking lot into the St Lucie River.
This development will include an exfiltration system to treat and store 0.24 Ac-Ft of storm water (above and beyond the water quality treatment requirement of 0.08 Ac-Ft), improving the local environment.
In addition, we are pleased to enhance the safety of the neighborhood by replacing the dark and scary empty building and parking lot with amenties that all of our neighbors can enjoy.
Floors of Rooms
Our facility includes 3 levels of accommodations, 1 parking deck level at ground level, and an additional parking deck below. Standard rooms and 1 bedroom suites will include spacious floorplans, porches, and water views.
Wet Slips
12,558 sq ft docking facility will feature boat lifts in select slips, with slip rentals available for resort guests and the public. Boat rental and charter services will provide cruising and fishing options for those without vessels of their own.
Years Local
Our team has roots here, was raised here, and knows here – we’re grateful for our little town on the coast. We’re looking forward to being a good neighbor and bringing value to a part of town that can use it. Looking forward to hosting y’all!
A Family Affair
Sportfish Marina Resort will replace an unused waterfront lot in the marina and industrial zone on the north end of the Roosevelt Bridge with a destination for both Stuart locals and visitors; a transformation undertaken by 3 generations of our family. We couldn’t be more excited to be having a positive impact.
Let’s get out on the water.
Stuart’s waterways have always been important to us.
Reviewing inventory; tough and dirty work, but someone has to do it.
